We have created a demanding requirement profile and select our partners accordingly. We conclude long­term contracts with the major manufacturers – also in order to continuously support them and to demand compliance with our high European quality standards. We focus on quality consulting instead of a straightforward quality control. This is consistent with our philosophy and our corporate culture of supporting our partners in their improvement process. INVESTMENTS IN NEW LOCATIONS For several years, we have focussed on establishing and expanding capacities and an alternative quality production outside the borders of mainland China. This geographical and political change also requires an adjustment of our structures and on the part of our staff. For this reason, we have invested in training and new locations outside of mainland China in recent years. »European suppliers are definitely an alternative.« KIM KÖHLER, KANDINSKY We have been importing promotional products from China for 15 years and are monitoring the dynamics there with mixed feelings. The government is showing an increasing level of regulation plans. CONSOLIDATION AND STRUCTURING The chaos of the boom years is being followed by a consolidation and structuring of the Chinese economy.
