www.psi-network.de PSI Journal 5/2016 SATISFIED PARTICIPANTS The 60 exhibitors, well-known suppliers and producers in the European promotional product industry, represented a wide selection of haptic advertising with their new and traditional products, and their stands were spread about a gallery through the “village square” area of the “AlpenRock”, the spacious interior of which is a detailed, authentic copy of a quaint alpine village ambiance with a tavern room and an alehouse. The PSI was also on hand with an information stand on its many different digital services for members. “As far as exhibitors are concerned, we are also confident to be able to welcome more next year owing to the longer-term planning, since by then the location will already be familiar. What is more, at this year’s trade show we already had more interested parties whom we were unable to take into consideration at such short notice, but who would like to exhibit next year,” said Thomas Oester. The trade visitors brought along a high level of interest and allowed themselves plenty of time to examine and test the new products and obtain detailed advice about them. In addition, there was a raffle where the distributor guests could win a weekend in the mountains at the Hotel Guarda Val in Lenzerheide, at an altitude of 1,600 metres. PROMOFRITZ AWARDS GIVEN FOR THE LAST TIME Everyone was excitedly looking forward to the evening of the PromoFritz Awards, which were presented for the seventh and last time in this form. Christoph Zindel moderated the programme throughout the evening. The welcoming speech by Promoswiss President Roger Riwar first thanked his comrades-in-arms in the board, especially Thomas Oester, who was responsible for organising the successful PSF Forum. The presentation ceremony of this year’s PromoFritz award was moderated by Adrian Schmidhäusler, who introduced the awardwinning products and campaigns to the evening’s guests and explained the reasons why they won. Starting next year, they will be called “Promo Swiss Award”.
