www.psi-network.de PSI Journal 5/2016 CHINA: PROFITING FROM CHANGE 8 With a growth rate of 6.9 per cent, 2015 marked a turnaround in the Chinese economy: The dark side of the industrial revolution is visible in all sectors and is inhibiting momentum. China seems to have arrived in the “new normality”. Together with 12 promotional product companies, we explore how the economic conditions in China have changed and how these processes impact production and imports. PSI TRADE SHOW: EXTENSION OF TARGET GROUP 38 The extension of the target group of the PSI Trade Show is no longer under discussion, at most the “how”. And this “how” is being discussed very constructively and objectively. Whilst change was previously considered to be more of a risk, the vast majority now believe it represents more of an opportunity. We asked Managing Director PSI Michael Freter for his assessments and intentions. LOGOHOCKER: ADVERTISING THAT SITS 72 The PSI member ME: SCH GmbH based in Sonneberg in Thuringia sells corporate design seating furniture under the brand name LogoHocker which it launched in 2015. The custom-made LogoHocker was very well received at the recent PSI Trade Show. ARNE SCHUBERT: TRANSPORTING EMOTIONS 74 When the young entrepreneur Arne Schubert started out in the world of individual promotional products with his “allbranded” project, he already had a distinct idea of how he would promisingly combine three-dimensional advertising with digital reality. That he and his team would successfully stir up the promotional products market in a very short time with an up-to-date concept is a story that is worth telling at this juncture.
