46 INDUSTRY PSI Journal 5/2016 www.psi-network.de PSF FORUM 2016 DISTINCTLY POSITIVE IMPULSES The interior of the AlpenRock venue exudes authentic Swiss atmosphere. There is even the Matterhorn smiling down from the wall. By holding the tenth PSF Forum, Promoswiss, the association of the Swiss promotional products industry, set the course for the future. At a new location and a new time, this trade show of the Swiss promotional products trade also celebrated a successful anniversary. The most recent PSF Forum debuted on 10 March at a new location, the Alpen Rock House in Dietikon, near Zurich. By moving from Lucerne, the new, rustic venue with an iconic character and for the first time on an earlier date, the trade show of the association of the Swiss promotional products industry experienced distinctly positive impulses reflected in a lively trade show day with many interesting talks, projects and orders, as well as a conspicuous increase in trade visitors. Thus the Promoswiss organizational team, headed by Thomas Oester, was able to welcome 198 guests from 105 promotional products companies. “So we equalised our visitor record in terms of the number of companies. In terms of person, we are slightly below the 200 mark, which means an increase compared to the previous year and the second-highest admission rate of all PSF events,” said Thomas Oester of the Promoswiss board, looking to the future with delighted confidence in view of this tendency. “The goal for next year is to top 200.”
